What is Polycrystalline CVD Diamond?
CVD, called Chemical Vapor Deposition Method. Unlike conventional tungsten carbide or even sintered polycrystalline diamond (PCD), CVD diamond is a high-purity, binder-free diamond material synthesized through a low-pressure chemical reaction. This unique manufacturing process produces a dense, ultra-hard polycrystalline structure that is redefining the limits of precision machining.
Because the CVD crystal diamond is mostly white or transparent, it is also commonly known as "White Diamond".
